A woman who paid the price for drinking alcohol after getting lip filler is warning others to not make the same mistake.

Taylor-Jay, 21, got puffier lips than expected when her face swelled up after consuming alcohol following injections.

Her viral TikTok video, which has amassed more than 76,000 views, serves as a warning to filler fanatics everywhere to heed advice from medical professionals.

“When I got absolutely steaming hours after getting my lips done despite being warned not to drink,” the West Yorkshire TikToker wrote on her video, referencing her night of a little too much fun post-op.

“Thank god they no longer look like this,” she captioned the clip.

When users in the comments section questioned her decision, she replied, “I obviously didn’t think anything would happen.”

Experts advise against drinking alcohol after the procedure because it increases the chance of swelling and inflammation.

But other Botox enthusiasts have made this mistake before. In December, Morgan Proudlock, unfortunately, experienced the same fate with her face becoming incredibly swollen.

In her viral video, much like Taylor-Jay’s, she revealed her extremely puffy face, calling it “The worst thing I have ever done, pain was ridiculous.”
