Men can't stop trying to make their genitals larger

They’ve got their eyes on the size.

Guys are swarming plastic surgeons to have their genitals pumped up, doctors and patients tell The Post.

“It’s very, very popular,” says Dr. Norman Rowe, a board certified plastic surgeon and owner of Rowe Plastic Surgery on Park Avenue on the Upper East Side, who charges anywhere from $3,000 to $25,000 for the phallic fillers. “The numbers are up 25% over last year, and I do about 30 a month.”

Although penis enhancement surgery has existed in the shadows for decades, p-shots — package-plumping fillers, typically made with hyaluronic acid — are now taking off among lesser-endowed dudes of all ages, says Rowe.

Paul, a finance guy who preferred to only use his first name, says it was “curiosity” — not insecurity — that inspired his inflation.

“It’s a competitive dating world,” says the single 47-year-old. “You have to take whatever edge you can get.”

NYC plastic surgeons say these fillers are catching on because they’re culturally acceptable (thank you, Kardashians), minimally invasive and not permanent. Injections last up to two years and can be “melted” down with enzymes if a gent has post-op regrets.

Finally, there’s the most eyebrow-raising aspect of p-shots: They’re about girth — not length.

Dermal fillers brought the circumference of Paul’s privates from 6 inches to a startling 8. He says the results speak for themselves.

“I feel like whatever movements I make are magnified for the women as well,” says Paul. “Some women are like, ‘Whoa, it’s really enormous. I better do yoga if I want to keep dating you.’ I hooked up with this British girl and she said, ‘Bloody hell.'”

He’s gone back for a “refill” six times so far, spending roughly $30,000 in total.

However, there have been recent horror stories of racy procedures gone wrong.

Fraudulent doctors, crappy materials and self-administering shots are the problem — not fillers, says Dr. David Shafer, a Midtown plastic surgeon who says he’s performed over 100 penis enhancements already this year. He uses 10 to 60 syringes of filler per procedure and charges anywhere from $8,000 to $48,000 for the ego boost.

Michael, 55, knows the pain of a bad pump-up procedure firsthand.

“It was totally the worst decision I ever made in my life,” says the Bay Area techie, who had an old-school, member-lengthening surgery 25 years ago in LA. The operation left him “disfigured,” with scarring.

So six months ago, he flew into NYC to get the area evened out with fillers.

“For me, it’s just about making it look natural and normal again,” says Michael, who declined to share his last name — or even tell his girlfriend about his new beauty splurge — because “it’s embarrassing.”

Still, he admits, “It doesn’t hurt that they make it a little bigger than normal, too.”

As for the procedure’s downsides? Dudes tend to go overboard, says Shafer.

“Some definitely get into territory where there’s no condom on the shelf that fits,” he says.

And when guys get too aggressive with their inch goals? “Part of my job is knowing when to say ‘no,’” says the doctor.

Paul, the financier, confesses that his supersized life isn’t all fun and phone numbers.

“A few women weren’t as excited,” says Paul. “It was just a bit too much to handle.”
