SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A unique skin care practice operated by an experienced aesthetic nurse injector is set to officially open its doors in early October, in conjunction with a long-established South Windsor beauty care facility.

SKIN Medical Aesthetics is located in Suite 104 of the Wentworth Business Park at 225 Oakland Road. The site is home to Miles Joseph Studios, a top-notch hair and cosmetology business owned since 2018 by Miles Mannarino, who is also co-owner of SKIN.

Co-owner Nadine Caron, holder of a Master in Science degree in nursing from the University of Saint Joseph, has an extensive background in emergency medicine, and has been practicing medical aesthetics for six years. The new practice provides skin care services such as Botox, lip flips, microneedling and tattoo removal. Beginning in November, PDO threading, or non-surgical facelifts, will be offered.

"I'm very excited about this partnership," Caron said in a recent interview with Patch. "We're taking the Miles Joseph experience and bringing it to skin care."

Taylor MacKenzie, social media specialist and administrator, said, "They are a dynamic duo, creating a 1-stop shop for hair and skin."

Caron will initially be the sole skin care provider, but plans to expand to include an RN and an APRN over the next year.

She said she is known for having an artistic eye and is very detail-oriented, and is truly passionate about giving each and every client a tailored plan based on the look they want to achieve.

An open house introducing the practice to the community is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.
