Despite the downward trend among businesses these days, Merz Aesthetics, a beauty innovation brand under the umbrella of Merz Pharma Group of Germany, reveals that the aesthetics market is on the rise.

Kittiwan Rattanachandr, General Manager, discloses that the market of cosmetic procedures is growing steadily in Thailand with its value reaching 5.2 billion baht. In 2019, three categories of products from Merz contributed to the growth. They are botulinum toxin that grew by 7%, dermal filler, 9%, and Skin Tightening device, 10%. According to Merz’s research, there are two main factors behind this growth. More young people are entering the market and grownups already in the market remain active. As such, as the GM explains, Merz Aesthetics anticipates up to 1 billion baht revenue, accounting for as much as 20% of the market, within the next three-years.

With more than 900 partner clinics, especially in major cities, Merz works in response to the needs of customers who believe that beauty empowers them and gives them more confidence.

People these days seek more treatments and are willing to groom themselves while still wanting to be who they are rather than like famous people. “The Best Version of Me” campaign has been launched in response to that, for customers who want to look natural and younger with healthy skin and confidence.

Merz is confident that its expertise, experienced physicians, high standard equipment and innovations will help customers attain their goal safely. The company will always adhere to its belief that: “Your Success Is Our Success”.

On 21 January 2020, Merz Gala Thai Night was hosted to celebrate with partners the past five years of success.
